Living Faith Church, Worthing
The church is led by Igor Makovik and Steve Jennings
supported by their wives Vivien and Dawn
LFC started very small as a house church in late 2021. In 2023, when we ran out of sofas and chairs, we began meeting in Heene Community Centre. We have about 25 members, and we warmly welcome anyone who would like to attend.
Our ethos is to have God at the heart of everything we do. Whilst we’re not yet affiliated with any particular group, we align with the Evangelical Alliance’s statement of faith. Our list of beliefs can be found here

Steve grew up in Doncaster and was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness. Something he separated from in 2003.
He has a remarkable testimony HERE.
He married Dawn in 2005, and they have 4 adult children and two grandchildren. Steve is a self-employed Heating Engineer. He has an excellent grasp of theology and brings a fresh angle on scripture.
Igor was born in Kiev, Ukraine and was a youth leader in a Pentecostal church.
In 1993 he attended the International Bible Training Institute in Burgess Hill where he met Vivien. They married and went back to Kiev in 1995 returning to his church as an Elder responsible for Teaching.
They came back to the UK in 1999, to start their family and opened the UK office of a merchandise company.
We meet in the Shelley Room in Heene Community Centre.
